Benjamin Joseph "Ben" Schwartz voiced Sonic the Hedgehog in Sonic the Hedgehog, Around the World in 80 Seconds, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic Drone Home, the Knuckles episode The Warrior, A Very Sonic Christmas and Sonic the Hedgehog 3.

- Schwartz was cast as Sonic the Hedgehog by coincidence. He came to portray Sonic after Sonic the Hedgehog executive producer Tim Miller suggested he voice the character in a five-minute short designed to pitch the film to potential studios. This occurred after Schwartz noticed Sonic dolls on Jeff Fowler's desk at the end of his meeting with Miller. Ultimately, they decided to cast Schwartz in the role.[1][2]
