The Gun Hunters[1] were a series of robots contained within the Space Colony ARK that Gerald Robotnik used to try to kill Sonic the Hedgehog and Shadow the Hedgehog after Shadow betrayed him, but the two hedgehogs managed to destroy the entire swarm of robots.

The Gun Hunters are destroyed by Super Sonic

Noticing that Shadow the Hedgehog had allied with Sonic the Hedgehog, both in their super transformations with the Chaos Emeralds, Gerald Robotnik was disappointed by Shadow's betrayal. He deployed a swarm of Gun Hunters from the Space Colony ARK to attack them in space. As the Gun Hunters closed in, Super Sonic and Super Shadow used their powers to destroy most of them. While the Eclipse Cannon prepared to fire, Super Sonic lured the Gun Hunters in, allowing Super Shadow to obliterate them with his the Chaos Spears.[2]
Capabilities[]
The Gun Hunters possess the ability to fly, giving them an aerial advantage, and are equipped with large blasters capable of firing powerful cannon charges. These weapons make them formidable opponents, as their long-range attacks can cause significant damage.
Trivia[]
- In the video game series, the Gun Hunters are a massive series of robots used by the Guardian Units of Nations to attempt to capture Sonic the Hedgehog by mistaking him for Shadow the Hedgehog.
- The Gun Hunters' appearance is used in Sonic X Shadow Generations.
