Sonic the Hedgehog In a pre-credits scene foreshadowing Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Ivo Robotnik has been stranded on the Mushroom Planet for 87 days. Claiming to a personified rock made in the image of his assistant that he is entirely mentally stable, he plans his voyage back to Earth, grinning at Sonic's quill.[1]
On a mountainside looking over Green Hills, Montana, a pile of leaves begins to swirl into the air. They are expelled by an appearing ring, which Tails jumps out of. As he lands, he checks his Miles Electric scanner, exclaiming that he has found Sonic. He hopes that he isn't too late, and flies towards the town.[1]
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 In a mid-credits scene foreshadowing Sonic the Hedgehog 3, G.U.N. searches for traces of Doctor Eggman from the crash site of the Giant Eggman Robot as Stone is disguised as a G.U.N. agent to evade capture. Walters finds out from his second-in-command that they found coordinates to a secret lab where a mysterious project known as Project Shadow is located. At the same time, a black hedgehog awakens from cryostasis.[2]
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 In a mid-credits scene, Sonic is seen running thinking he won another race against Tails and Knuckles the Echidna, only to find out that he is in the New York State Park. As he is ambushed by Metal Sonic and his robotic replica army, a hooded figure saves him and reveals herself as Amy Rose.[3]
In a post-credits scene, Shadow, thought to be perished alongside Doctor Eggman following the destruction of Eclipse Cannon, managed to survive the explosion and picks up one of his Limiter Rings on Earth.[3]

Knuckles 1 06. What Happens In Reno, Stays In Reno In a mid-credits scene, Knuckles the Echidna and Wade Whipple head home from Reno, Nevada. Whipple suggests putting on some road trip music, revealing his new mix: "Knuckles and Wade Warrior Jammerz". Knuckles finally finds his favorite song in "The Warrior" by Scandal, driving off with the song playing.[4]
