Kidnapping Knuckles the Echidna[]
The scavengers capture Knuckles

Finding Knuckles the Echidna on an unknown planet, following his fall off a cliff, the scavengers took Knuckles to the Casino Night, putting him up against a beast. Knuckles won and bribed the scavengers with rings into finding Sonic the Hedgehog with him.
While searching for him, the scavengers accidentally tracked Tails, who was looking for the same person, instead. Hitting a dead end, the scavengers and Knuckles headed toward the Mushroom Planet.[1]
Arrival on the Mushroom Planet[]

Upon arrival, the Scavengers approached a seemingly unconscious man lying in front of them, until the man hinders them with his booby traps. While knocked out, Knuckles stepped through the portal and confronted the man instead, who had told him that his target was living on the planet called Earth.[2]

- According to Tyson Hesse, the bird-related cowls the Scavengers wear are based on the designs of Jet the Hawk, Wave the Swallow and Storm the Albatross; the Babylon Rogues. The cowls match their color schemes.[3]
