With G.U.N.'s mission to apprehend Shadow the Hedgehog in Tokyo, Tails provided Sonic the Hedgehog with Titanium Handcuffs to use against him. When Sonic encountered Shadow, he attempted to reason with him, using the handcuffs as a threat. However, Shadow overpowered Sonic, knocking him out and cuffing him before departing. When Sonic regained consciousness, Tails and Knuckles the Echidna arrived to free him. Embarrassed, Sonic tried to deny that Shadow had been the one to handcuff him.[1]
